Getting to know us

because there is a saying "You Can't Love What You Don't Know" ...

Thus the first post is to introduce ourselves as the admins of this blog. We are from University of Kuala Lumpur as the students of Chemical Engineering (Process) in our 4th semester. This blog was created as one of our mini project for Environmental Control and Management subject. We have to do several testing for water, air and noise in order to compass this project's requirement. Hence, we are going to update our progress from time to time.

The purpose of this project is to assess and monitor air, noise and water pollution that is happening around us. This evaluation and assessment need to be done before the end of this year. As for air monitoring, we are going to monitor exhaust emission of two different types of vehicles by manipulating the type of petrol fuel used by both vehicles. For noise monitoring, Tampin morning market has been selected as the venue to monitor the level of noise pollution around the market area and determine whether the decibels level is harmful to the community or not. Last but not the least, for water pollution, we have picked Lendu River to assess the level of water pollution due to the causing factor that might classed the river as polluted giving the surrounding of the river is quite worrying. By monitoring and examining the level of pollution, we could determine whether it will affect the community in long term period and figure out a solution to reduce the pollution and by all means educate the people to conserve and preserve our nature for a better future.
